Things people ask before they buy.
Straight answers. No jargon.
Orbi 370 is designed for apartments, condos and everyday homes that want reliable whole-home WiFi 7 at a more accessible price. It is a strong fit for streaming, browsing, video calls and connected devices, with guided setup.
The 2-pack is designed for smaller homes and apartments, the 3-pack covers up to 6,000 sq. ft., and the 4-pack covers up to 8,000 sq. ft. Actual coverage varies based on your home's layout, walls and construction. You can add a compatible Orbi 370 Series satellite later.
The app guides you through connecting the router, placing each satellite and creating your network. Most households can complete setup in minutes without networking expertise.
Orbi 370 replaces your router, not the modem or gateway that connects your home to your internet service. It works with most providers when connected to compatible equipment, and the app guides you through setup.
Both deliver whole-home WiFi 7. Orbi 370 uses a dual-band design suited for your typical WiFi use cases and standard home size while the Orbi 770 steps up to tri-band WiFi 7, speeds up to 11 Gbps and more capacity for larger or busier homes. Choose Orbi 370 for value or Orbi 770 for more performance and headroom.
Yes. Add a compatible Orbi 370 Series satellite to extend coverage as your needs change. It joins the same network, so there is no separate network to manage.
No. Advanced Router Protection, WPA3 encryption and automatic updates are included from setup. Optional NETGEAR Armor™, powered by Bitdefender, extends protection across connected devices, privacy and personal data. A free trial is included, and a paid subscription is optional after the trial.
Yes. WiFi 7 is backward compatible, so devices using earlier WiFi generations can still connect. WiFi 7 devices can use the newest capabilities, while speed and performance vary by device.
